Let's Tab 是一款致力於隱私保護的擴充功能。我們不會收集、傳輸或將任何使用者個人識別資訊（PII）上傳至遠端伺服器。
您在 Let's Tab 中設定的文字資料（包含快速連結、便利貼、待辦清單、背景色彩／漸層設定及語系偏好）透過 chrome.storage.sync 儲存，並利用 Chrome 瀏覽器內建的同步機制，在您登入同一 Google 帳號的裝置間自動同步。此同步過程完全由 Chrome 瀏覽器原生處理，本擴充功能不會將資料傳送至任何第三方伺服器。
背景圖片因檔案大小限制，僅透過 IndexedDB 儲存於您的本機裝置中，不會跨裝置同步。若您未登入 Chrome 帳號，所有資料將僅儲存於本機。
v1.3.0 起，右側面板的分頁選擇（便利貼／計算機）透過 localStorage 記錄於本機，此為純介面狀態，不含任何個人資訊，亦不會同步至其他裝置。
Let's Tab 提供選用的「天氣小工具」，用於顯示您所在地的氣溫、天氣狀況與降雨機率。此功能預設關閉，僅在您主動點擊「啟用天氣」按鈕，或於設定面板手動開啟後，瀏覽器才會跳出定位權限請求。
取得的座標僅用於向天氣服務查詢預報資料，不會儲存於任何遠端伺服器，亦不會透過 Chrome 帳號同步。查詢結果（氣溫、天氣狀況、降雨機率）會快取於您的本機裝置，每 30 分鐘更新一次；「是否啟用天氣」這項偏好設定則與其他一般設定相同，會透過 chrome.storage.sync 同步。
若瀏覽器無法取得定位，或您不願授予定位權限，可於設定面板手動輸入城市名稱。該名稱會送至 Open-Meteo 的地理編碼服務（geocoding-api.open-meteo.com）轉換為座標，僅用於查詢天氣。轉換後的地點名稱與座標會存放於您的擴充功能設定中，因此會與其他一般設定一同透過 chrome.storage.sync 同步至您登入同一 Chrome 帳號的裝置；我們不會將其傳送至 Let's Write 或任何自有伺服器。清空該欄位即可移除手動地點並改回自動定位。
為了提供更好的視覺體驗，本擴充功能使用 Google faviconV2 API 抓取網站圖示；天氣小工具啟用時，則使用 Open-Meteo 這個免費、無需帳號或金鑰的公開服務，包含查詢天氣資料的 api.open-meteo.com，以及在您手動輸入城市名稱時，將名稱轉換為座標的 geocoding-api.open-meteo.com。上述請求皆由瀏覽器直接發出，我們不會儲存您的瀏覽歷程或定位紀錄。
您可以隨時透過「資料匯出／匯入」功能備份或刪除您的資料，或直接卸載本擴充功能以清除所有本地端及同步儲存的設定。

Let's Tab is a privacy-focused browser extension. We do NOT collect, transfer, or upload any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to remote servers.
Text-based data configured within Let's Tab—including Quick Links, Sticky Notes, Todo Lists, background color/gradient settings, and language preferences—is stored via chrome.storage.sync and automatically synchronized across devices where you are signed into the same Google account, using Chrome's built-in sync mechanism. This synchronization is handled entirely by the Chrome browser; this extension does NOT send data to any third-party servers.
Background images are stored locally on your device via IndexedDB due to file size limitations and are not synchronized across devices. If you are not signed into a Chrome account, all data will be stored locally only.
As of v1.3.0, the selected right-panel tab (Notes / Calculator) is persisted via localStorage on the local device. This is purely UI state, contains no personal information, and is never synced to other devices.
Let's Tab offers an optional weather widget that shows the temperature, condition, and chance of rain for your location. This feature is off by default — the browser's location permission prompt only appears after you explicitly click the "Enable Weather" button, or turn it on in Settings.
The coordinates obtained are used solely to query a weather forecast service. They are never stored on any remote server, and never synced via your Chrome account. The resulting forecast (temperature, condition, chance of rain) is cached on your local device and refreshed every 30 minutes; the "weather enabled" preference itself syncs like any other setting, via chrome.storage.sync.
If your browser cannot determine your location, or you prefer not to grant the location permission, you can type a city name manually in Settings. That name is sent to Open-Meteo's geocoding service (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) to be converted into coordinates, used only to query the weather. The resulting place name and coordinates are stored in your extension settings, and therefore do sync via chrome.storage.sync to devices signed in to the same Chrome account, like any other setting; they are never sent to Let's Write or any server of ours. Clearing the field removes the manual location and returns to automatic geolocation.
To enhance the visual experience, this extension utilizes the Google faviconV2 API to retrieve website icons. When the weather widget is enabled, it also queries Open-Meteo, a free, key-less public service: api.open-meteo.com for forecast data, and geocoding-api.open-meteo.com to resolve a city name you type manually into coordinates. These requests are made directly by your browser; we do not store your browsing history or location history.
You may back up or delete your data at any time using the "Data Export/Import" feature, or simply uninstall the extension to clear all local and synced configurations.
